FAQs

What influenced you to become a writer/author?

It started when I was roughly 4 years old. I would write cards and poetry to family and friends. I saw how special it made them feel, and I loved that!

I also loved using words to express ideas, thoughts, and feelings

Also, when I was a young girl, I randomly read the thesaurus, a large book consisting of bigger, more sophisticated words! I felt so immersed in linguistic learning and absorbing those words.

I loved the Romance novelist Danielle Steele! I always thought I would write a book like hers one day! Yet God had other plans!

When did you write your first book?

I wrote my first book in my twenties. It is entitled “The Yellow Hooded Madagascar.” I made a short story narrative of the title and included it in my current book, “I Dare You to Walk in My Shoes.”

How did you come up with the title of your current book?

Initially, a friend of mine said, “Why don’t you name the book ‘Moving Forward.’ I thought maybe because a lot of it was about my journey and cascading from the darkness back into the Light! The light of truly living!

However, my view soon was that by reading and absorbing my story, each individual would feel inspired and encouraged to share their own Unique story and feel eradicated and vindicated!!!

How long did it take you to write the book?

The Book has three volumes.

Hell

Heaven

Eternity

I wrote and published the volume Heaven “Redeem the Dream 33 in 2016-2017. However I was still suffering gravely from the ramifications of my mental disease and didn’t pursue promoting the book volume at that time.

Many years later, I produced the second volume, “Hell: Getting to the Route of All Evil” and “Eternity: Rev me up 33.”

Then I collectively self-published a three-part series on my Father’s heavenly birthday, June 13th. I first published in 2022.

Most recently, I joined efforts with a publishing house called Frontline Book Publishing and made some revisions to the book and relaunched it once again on my Father’s heavenly birthday. I joined the publishing house this current year, 2025. It has been a spellbinding journey!

What prompted you to start USA/Universe of Self Awareness?

I started Universe of Self Awareness as a long-time hope and vision! It was to be an organization that would be accepting of all that we’re living for hope, healing, hierarchy of learning, and change.

It would grant and encompass global awareness and positive reform!

The philosophy behind Universe of Self Awareness was to capture a Universe together in synchronology keeps at bay evil/negative forces!

Ultimately, being affirmed and held by Healing Hands of angels or a higher being!

Those involved and affected by the faith and fruitful fortitude of the movement serve love, discernment, and compassion to self and neighbors so to speak. Working on regrouping and strengthening surrounding communities!

How did you connect with Mental Health America of Dutchess County and its CEO, Andrew O’Grady?

I was a client working diligently to achieve long-term stability and balance with my mental health dis-ease, my food addiction, and my overall well-being!

My case manager suggested I contact Andrew and share my story of recovery, my ideas, and my hopes for my future. Andrew was very receptive to meeting with me.

From the moment we met, he supported my quest to move forward in my transformation and my recovery! He is a positive and powerful source of light and mentorship in my life’s journey. We plan on doing great things together as affirming affiliates.

Why did you choose the biblical/Universal Fruits of the Spirit theme for your Universe of Self Awareness workshops?

I chose the Fruits of the Spirit because I wanted to promote these Divine characteristics to spread to others beings throughout the Universe and to bring light through God’s beauty!

I wanted to extrapolate Literary pieces from my published memoir, “I Dare You to Walk in My Shoes,” to indicate and exemplify different Fruits of the spirit, such as Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control, Modesty, Charity, and Generosity.
